I liked this book much better than its’ predecessor.

Eventually, this all comes to a point where she must make a very difficult decision, without knowing in her heart whether it was really the right one. Laurel finds it extremely difficult to maintain her position between two worlds. She is constantly guarded because the troll she pissed off in the first book is now out for revenge. When Laurel goes back home and tries to resume a normal teenage life, she finds it more than a little difficult. Naturally, this means spending time away from her now-boyfriend David…and it also means getting MUCH closer to her would-be faerie love, Tamani. Now that Laurel and her family know the truth about what she really is, she must immerse herself in the faerie world to learn as much as she can in the summer before her junior year. SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE FIRST BOOK IN THE SERIES, WINGS!! Here is what I thought of the second book. I posted the review for the first book, Wings, last week. Spells is the second book in the Laurel series.
